Protesters are flooding the streets of Brazil’s capital Rio de Jeneiro over the rape of a 16 year old girl.
Reports by Aljazeera show mass protests dominated by women calling upon government to address what they term as ‘a growing culture of rape in the country.’
The protest was sparked by the gang rape of a 16 year old and two men have been arrested in connection with the barbaric act.
However the president Temer interim government is yet to be seen whether it will take action with the ongoing leadership crisis.
