The battle line which has been drawn by English and Russian fans continues in a war of words between the two.
On Wednesday, Police in France used tear gas to disperse England fans who were chanting songs taunting Russia who drew their second game against Slovakia in Lille.
There has been tensions between the two countries since the tournament started. A group of English fans yesterday took their noisy anger to the streets chanting “go to hell Russia, we are England and Wales”.
Last week Saturday, the two parties fought after the Russian hooligans broke the security line in the stadium and attacked English supporters. This violence started just after their Euro 2016 game which ended in a draw.
Some English fans have been jail in France for two and three months respectively after involving themselves in violence in the Southern city of France, Marseille.
England will be playing their mouthwatering group B match today in Lens against their old rivals Wales at Stade Bollaert-Delellis.
