A raped seven-year-old minor bled profusely and bore pain for over 60 hours abefore finally being admitted to a hospital as she was allegedly turned away. The seven-year-old survivor was ultimately admitted to the Shatabdi Hospital at Kandivli in a critical condition on the third day of the rape, after her family approached an NGO for help and members intervened. Her family has alleged that she was bleeding profusely, but the hospital staff had refused to admit her.
The Kandivli police arrested the man who allegedly raped the girl on August 16, after luring her with money. He was identified as Sanjeev Paswan.
Sanjeev Paswan (48) worked at a construction site and he lured the little girl and raped her when no one was round. The girl’s parents also worked at the same place.
