Malawian music artist based in South Africa, Isaac Manda, popuraly known as “Malabo” is living his dreams as he will be launching his first ever gospel CD on May 7, 2016 at Nico Malani Hall in Capetown, South Africa.
According to Malabo, in his new album which has been produced by Joe M’mangisa, he has featured young and vibrant musicians the likes of Lean Omega Ngwira and Nyasha Kumirai.
Speaking during an interview,Malabo said the 10-track album, Ndilondola Mapazi, is aimed at appreciating what Jesus has been doing in his life.
“This is my first album in my music carrier, and my main aim of this album is to preach the gospel to the people through music. The tittle of the album “Ndilondola Mapazi” teaches us to follow Christ’s footsteps if we want to achieve in life”, said Malabo.
The upcoming musician said that he has invited fan favourite musician, Lulu (Lawrence Khwisa)to come and grace the event in Capetown.
“Lulu is coming to curtain-raise the event. All has been set for the launch, we are just making some final touches here and there, and I am looking forward to experiencing one of the best launches in the history of Malawian gospel music in South Africa”, said Malabo.
Lulu Khwisa will be launching his sixth album on May 1, 2016 at Bingu International Conference Centre in Lilongwe and he said after the launch he will be heading to South Africa to curtain-raise the CD launch of Malabo.
“South Africa here I come, I will be supporting my homeboy Malabo during his Ndilondora Mapazi CD launch in Capetown”, said Lulu.
