President Muhammadu Buhari To Resign

This is the list of prominent Nigerians who have asked the Nigerian President Mohammadu Buhari not seek for re-election.

Following the unspeakable hardships in the country, Boko Haram, killings by the Fulani herdsmen, the Ipob separatist group, arrest and disappearance of activists, police and other security agents brutality of citizens and suffering of millions of Nigerians has giving rise to the call for the Nigeria President to either resign or renounce his bid for re-election.

Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari

More Nigerians are speaking up against what they call incompetence by the President and his party cohorts, to vacate office and save the country from drowning. Buhari’s  inauguration speech on 29 May 2015 was about change, the change which was an exact opposite of what he promised Nigerians.

The only supporters of the Presidents claim for a second term are those who fear what might happen if they fail to support his bid for re-election. Many have described the country as a ‘sinking ship’, others called it a ‘time bomb’, but only time will tell what becomes of the former giant of Africa under the leadership of President Mohammadu Buhari.
