One of the twin brothers who were born in a stranded bus in Benoni, South Africa, has been laid to rest. The twin brother, Tom, was laid to rest on Tuesday at Rynsoord cemetery in Benoni.

The two twins were prematurely born in a bus last week when the bus which was travelling from Johannesburg to Malawi broke down in Benoni.

The bus got stuck in Benoni and almost all passengers were sleeping in that broken bus for a month.
The mother to the deceased, Mercy Ndlovu, was going to Malawi to deliver and she was seven months pregnant when the bus got stuck.

The funeral service of Tom was held at Northfield Methodist Church in Benoni and it was attended by some Malawian church leaders, South African Social Development Department and some community members.

Meanwhile, Mercy Ndlovu has been assigned a social worker and she will be attending counselling to help her cope with the loss of her child.
The surviving twin, Jones, is currently at OR Tambo Memorial Hospital where he is undergoing medical care.
