Reading will challenge for a place in the Premier League in the Play-Off Final at Wembley Stadium on Monday, May 29, 2017 after edging out Fulham by a goal to nill making it 2-1 on aggregate.
The Championship side played their second leg play-off on Tuesday night against Fulham and they became victors courtesy of Yann Kermogants penalty just few minutes after half time.
The 35 year old Frenchman, Yann coolly slotted home a decissive penalty after Fulham’s defender Tomas Kalas was judged to have handled the ball in the box.
Reading will face either Huddersfield Town or Sheffield Wednesday which are playing on Wednesday night to decide who will join Brighton and Hove Albion and Newcastle in the premier league.
Reading has been in and out of the English Premier League and if they happen to qualify then they should be well organised and well equiped to avoid another relegation.
