Few days after the news broke out that the Malawian born Prophet, Shephered Bushiri has been restricted from entering Botswana, a group calling itself the Major Sons and Daughters-Botswana Movement has threatened to protest against a decision to put Prophet Bushiri on visa restriction.

The declaration dated April 26, 2017 and signed by the Minister of Nationality, Immigration and Gender Affairs, Edwin J Batshu, stated that the man of God will only be allowed to enter into the country if he has applied for a Visa.

The news was not warmly welcomed in Botswana as his followers are eager to see their prophet proclaiming the gospel in their land.

According to the media in Botswana, the Coordinator of the movement, Moemedi Baikalafi said his group will deliver a letter to the Nationality, Immigration and Gender Affairs Minister, Edwin Batshu, demanding reasons for the decision.

Talking to Gabz FM, the coordinator said they will give the minister five working days to respond to their letter, failing which they will then approach the President.

“If our request for answers fail to be heard, we will hold a peaceful demonstration and we will also write to international rights organisations to highlight our plight”, said Baikalafi.
