The officer rushed there and discovered that a motor vehicle which had two occupants on board was involved in a road traffic accident.
“When the officer told the drivers who looked to be drunk to drive their vehicle to the police post, they refused and resorted to violence”, said Mwaata Katongo.
She added, “they assaulted the female police officer and broke the police communication gadget”.
