LACK of coordination between UPND president Hakainde Hichilema and his running mate Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba is a source of chaos if the two leaders are elected into office, President Edgar Lungu has charged.
“They are a bunch of jokers. They do not even coordinate and talk to each other because if they did, they would speak one language. The other day their vice president was saying they will arrest me and my political advisor (Kaizer Zulu) and then their president came and said no, we are not going to arrest anyone,” he said.
President Lungu said Mr Hichilema and Mr Mwamba were pre-occupied with getting to State House in an attempt to recover all the resources they have spent in their campaigns.
He was addressing a campaign rally at Moomba Secondary School grounds in Katuba constituency yesterday.
He said if Mr Hichilema and Mr Mwamba were coordinating, they would have been speaking one language.
And President Lungu has observed that the UPND has lost more representation in Parliament from the time Mr Hichilema took over the leadership.
