Mayoral candidate Fisho Mwale says he is inspired by his mother to serve women and the country at large. In an intimate show of love for his mother, Mwale says a vote for him is a vote for women empowerment.
He proposes setting up old people’s homes as a way of rewarding Zambian elders.
BELOW IS THE STATEMENT BY FISHO MWALE (captured with the mother in picture)
I am so grateful for the support my mother has given me since the time I expressed my interest to contest as independent candidate. My mother has been such an inspiration to me and I am grateful for her loving heart.
She always provides good counsel for me. Out of the respect I have for our women, I will as your non-partisan mayor, ensure that our mothers live and work in a conducive environment suitable for each one of them to excel and be an inspiration to each of us.
Further to this, we must provide a social welfare system where retirement homes run by competent and reputable NGOs are established. This will relieve pressure on child-headed households. We have too many neglected old people in society. A vote for me is a vote for women empowerment.
